Description

ELAK Battery Testers are high-rate discharge testers. These testers impose a load on the battery, which is equivalent to that drawn by the starter motor from the battery, while cranking the engine.

The tester studies the drop in battery voltage & indicates the condition of the battery if it is capable of starting the engine or not.

Technical Info

All the 3 models are fitted with a high quality 312 digit LED voltmeter, which is powered by the battery under test.

The testers have a built-in circuit, which senses the drop in battery voltage under load and indicates if the battery is sufficiently charged, weak or dead, by means of 3 coloured LED's.

The models BCT-5 and BCT-700 have a timer built-in which automatically dis-connects the load after 5 seconds.
